Steam UTM link builder
Paste your Steam page link and get a UTM-tagged link for every place you promote your game. Steamworks UTM Analytics then shows visits, wishlists and purchases per source.
Where to see the results
- In Steamworks, open the UTM Analytics report for your game. Each combination of utm_source and utm_campaign is its own row with visits, wishlists, purchases and activations.
- You need the “View Marketing Traffic Data” permission for the game. If you don't see the report, ask your Steamworks account admin.
- Steam only counts visitors who are signed in to Steam in the browser where they opened the link, and hides combinations with too few visits. Expect fewer visits in Steamworks than clicks counted elsewhere.
